About Me:

Hi there! My name is Charlie Rubin, and I am a second year from St. Louis, Missouri studying math. I joined the club during my first week at UVA and haven’t looked back.

I’ve danced since I was four, but Salsa Club was my first opportunity experiencing Latin dance. I’ve enjoyed choreographing with the club and am excited to serve as the email writer-in-residence this year.

Outside of performing and social dancing, I enjoy playing the harp, going on road trips with my friends, and solving Rubik’s Cubes. I also love me a good movie 🤑, so add me on Letterboxd and I’ll try to like all of your reviews. I can’t wait to start next year with a salsa-themed bang and meet all the new people joining the club!
