About Me:

Hi everyone! My name is Sofía and I’m a second-year from New Jersey studying Public Policy and Economics. I’m involved with the Fuego Dance Team, PMP, and Undergraduate Research, and I’m proud to be Mexican American. My favorite dance styles are salsa and cumbia, and I love everything that brings people together through movement, music, and culture. Outside of dance, I enjoy traveling, art, and discovering new music. As Marketing Chair for Salsa Club, I’m excited to help grow our community, welcome new dancers, and promote fun, engaging events that make everyone feel included on and off the dance floor.
